Halo is an electric shaver and trimmer combo that learns your face. It is equipped with gyroscopic positioning sensors on the head of the shaver, and every corner, every hard edge and every inch of your face is being recorded to adapt the shaver for the best shave. After a few times using it, your shaver practically knows you, just like your barber would. It adjusts its head rotation and blade force accordingly so you don't have to struggle and grind your face time after time in front of the mirror just to get a good clean shave.
Grooming today is not just about a clean shave of course. Halo doubles as a trimmer. A very precise one. If you choose to get a trim instead of a clean shave that morning, you scroll the wheel to the length you want and the head adjusts itself automatically.
Most of us leave our grooming devices in common areas. But who is to say your roommate's friend who is crushing on the couch won't give your shaver a go? As long of a shot as it might be, Halo gives you the comfort of mind that noone else but you can use it with a fingerprint scanner lock. The interaction is smooth, put your finger on the scanner and your shaver salutes you asking what you wan't for the day: a shave or a trim.
The lower body of the shaver is black anodized stainless steel and the top part is high quality soft to the touch plastic that gives the shaver a solid feel while not being too hard on the wrists.

Frjáls is a modular perfume bottle design that allows people to carry their favourite fragrances on the go. The initial idea behind Frjáls is to innovate both the use and purchasing experience of perfumes. Everyone knows how important the sense of smell and scent perception is and fragrances have been around for centuries but nothing much has changed in the design of perfume bottles while people’s lives have become more and more mobile. Frjáls aims to improve this very issue: mobility. The word Frjáls in the language of Icelandic means “free” and that is exactly what this product does, it liberates people from having to carry hefty perfume bottles while being able to use their favourite fragrances anytime of the day.
Until Frjáls, we have been stuck with bulky, heavy bottle designs that are not -at all- easy to carry around. And although it is possible to buy perfumes in smaller volumes, they still cost almost the same as the bigger ones, driving people to always purchase the bigger one. That was the starting point of the Frjáls project, enabling people to be able freshen up during the day using a compact and discreet perfume bottle.
In order to get a better understanding of people’s relationships with perfumes, twelve interviews have been conducted. It has been an encouraging experience to find out in the end that even though people’s habits vary enormously, they still give importance to actually smelling good, and different than others in some cases. From people who are not really into perfumes to perfumophiles, they still would appreciate a portable perfume bottle.
Frjals, is envisioned to give the ultimate flexibility to the user from the purchase to ways of use. The user, through the app can order a new Frjáls which consists of 5 containers of perfumes which can all be the same or all different fragrances. Each of these containers contain 17,5 ml (0.6 oz) of the desired fragrance and they are all neatly held together by the silicone skin. The form of the modules and the body has been designed to give it a clean and sober look, giving the importance to the content and making it pleasing to look at everyday. Along with that, your new perfumes arrive in a fabric bag inspired by Japanese rice bags instead of a bunch of plastic bags and paper boxes to make the whole cycle more environmentally friendly.
The use of Frjáls can be as traditional as your everyday perfume bottles, a few puffs in the morning and off to work. But here is where the idea behind the design kicks in, you can just easily open up the silicone cover, grab your favourite fragrance for the day and put it in your bag or better yet, the back pocket of your jeans and use it again anytime of the day!
As time passes and you are out of perfumes, you can simply go to the app, order more more of your perfume modules, either the one you used and loved or another one that you have been meaning to try out for a change. This way experimentation when it comes to something as important as how you smell and strike as to everyone is encouraged. Plus you only pay for the content which is the perfume itself.
